Gaurav Gill won the International Rally of Queensland yesterday in the 2010 Asia Pacific Rally Championship. He was driving for the MRF team

Gaurav Gill wins Rally Queensland

This is great news actually. I felt bad when for the last 2 rallies (Hokkaido and Whangerei) mechanical problems denied him victory, else he would have had a clear lead in the championship race.

The two point difference between him and his teammate and title leader Taguchi isn't a huge gap, but all depends on his machinery now. Hope MRF can give him a reliable car for the rest of the events so as to win the championship.
