Panis not one of the best drivers in F1, but a really steady driver, had one win in his whole career, a good win i might add.

he will be racing for the last time in Japan and then will be giving his seat to Ricardo ZOnta for his Home GP, Zonta will be giving his seat to Trulli for Japan and then will be replacing Olivier in Brazil

Farewell and Good luck for Olivier's last GP

Another senior driver leaves the race track . He might not have done any histronics but he was certainly a good driver and easy to be with. I guess now he'll take up his testing duties with Toyota

i do rate him highly as a test driver..
but he always did lack raw pace that was required to race..

enjoyed the only race he won thoroughly tho..
can never forget that rain soaked monaco gp of 96 !
