Hello from a Hyderabadi.

Hello Bhp'ians,

I'm Sree, a car fanatic since birth. I've just completed my engineering in computer science and its quite overwhelming to be a part of this fantastic forum. I own a very humble Indica Vista QJD which has done about 23000 Km in a year and 9 months.

I would love to thank Google for springing up this forum when I was searching for a comparison between the Swift and the Vista. I've been hooked on to the forum ever since. It is an understatement to say I have learn quite a lot from this forum. The surplus amounts of knowledge amassed here surprises me and makes me want to learn more.

Like many of you guys in here, I LIVE TO DRIVE. Taking inspiration from the wonderful travelogues here. I have done a Hyderabad - Vizag - Araku - Bhadrachalam trip. The travel from araku to bhadrachalam was done through the eastern ghats covering various untouched and uninhabited landscapes. I'm contemplating to post a travelogue of this trip which was indeed very wonderful to me. I also wish to drive to Leh in the Himalayas .

A big word of thanks goes to the moderators of team-bhp for considering me as a capable addition to the forum

Thanks,
Sree

Sure Vina. It usually takes 50 km to escape this concrete jungle, thanks to the expansion of Hyderabad. But I can recommend some nice places which are doable in a day.
1. Nagarjuna Sagar (150 km from Hyd)
2. laknavaram (200 km from Hyd)
3. Kuntala waterfalls (260 km from hyd)

Although the distance to kuntala, which is near adilabad is 260 km, You can easily reach kuntala waterfalls in 4 hours, thanks to the immaculately maintained NH7.
