rules are rules and there is a sound logic behind every rule.
lets make our roads a safer place to commute by obeying the rules.

hey guyz,

i've been driving around and wrecking chennai since i was 15 yrs old. i cudn't figure out why the law gives driver's license to those who are 18 yrs or older who are bad at driving and deny the younger people from driving even though some 15 y o like me did drive well. after 5 yrs, i've learnt the reason that not only skills matter but also the state of the mind matters. u're not as mature and responsible at 15 as u r in 20.

when u r 18 or higher, u r more responsible which makes u have u're own limits while driving.

so, my advise to the younger team mates is that drive responsibly. have fun and keep revvin' bros.

Hey!
Nah, u'll have to turn 18 to get a driver's license to drive a car. The 16yr age limit is for ungeared scooterettes like the Sunny etc which are below 75cc. Wait till u turn 18, trust me, its worth it. Underage driving is irresponsible. Maybe ure a good driver, what if someone else rams into u. The age limit is there for a reason. Stick to it. And yeah, its just a question of two years or 24 months, whatever sounds better!

This suddenly reminds me of the time when I was in my 10th and decided to take my dads car out for a drive on my own(He had been with me on previous occasions to teach me). Trust me I didnt last long and pranged the car within 5 mins.

Since that time I have been a strong believer that you can survive on track when you are underage coz its a lot safer for you, not on the road where you are not safe for the people around you.

This is critically so as youngsters usually tend to get distraced with too many things happening around them and they are not able to focus on just driving.

So hang on till you get over the distractions a bit till you yourself can become a distraction

people say that you should not drive till you reach 18...agreed...but dude what about the excitement of driving before 18...im gonna be 17 right now....driving since i was 16...when you turn 18 and drive..it is like a simple cool thing...but when you are driving at an age of 15-16-17 you feel really cool...and specially when you have your own personal car...(like me)hehehe and the best thing if its repainted and modified ( like mine )hehehehe

no point in discussing with him he thinks he is "DUDE"

it is because of people like this we have to pay higher insurance premium

my suggetion to anyone & everyone is to wait till he/she is 18 before getting drivers liecence. It is worth the wait
I too wasn't allowed/didn't wanted to drive untill I had liecence
& even today if I don't have my drivers liecence with me for some reason I don't drive.

P.S. : welcome to team BHP
