Hello

Well, my screen name says it all....found this site when searching for info to upgrade from my M800 to a 3 box car.
Great job guys ...nice to know there is an active/knowledgable community here.

Had spent a lot of time in the last two months going thru the posts which also helped me form an opinion ( baleno was never in my list earlier ).

On the personal front, i am a SW engineer working in Bangalore for the last 7 years. Home state - God's own coutry.

regards
m800

hey m8002Baleno :-)
Welcome to the most rocking forum on cars/bikes.
Well, till a year or so ago, not many people had even heard of the baleno. But today it is hot. And this forum is teeming with Baleno fans.
I bought one 10 months ago and its cool.
Where from in Kerala ?

Hi m800,
welcome to the forum.
Baleno is a great choice and there are many Baleno owners around here.
You can even consider Ford Fiesta, it is a good car and most importantly most modern.

I second that....its easy to get carried away by the Baleno mania on the forum but you need to evaluate your options with a clear mind and decide what you want. Depends on what your budget is, actually - I personally dont find it outstanding as a car, but perhaps it delivers in line with your expectations from a car....

Welcome to the forum...first of all!
Secondly, I would totally back sridhar24 on his comment. Baleno maybe a good vehicle and you may get carried away after seeing the number of Baleno Owners here...but its going to have cut throat competition with the Fiesta.
But, what ever decision you take it'll be worthwhile...both the cars are equally good and competant.

Hey bro,
welcome aboard and enjoy your stay here.
If you aren't looking too much at the performance angle and FE, good lookd, safety, good build qualities are priorities then get the Fiesta.
I would vouch for the Fiesta.
