Welcome to the forum Shankar. Nice to see another Coimbatore T-BHPian. So you have two "Kappals" (Ships) in your collection. That's how I call contessa and 2000

Re: Shankar From Coimbatore

Wow!
Where do you park all your vehicles? What about road tax?

You have something against RDs?

Anyway, welcome.

A warm welcome to Team BHP, Shankar.

That is a brilliant collection of bikes from a golden era! Thanks for sharing the photos. It brings me fond memories, especially those 1980s designs on those bikes. Please let us know in detail about your most cherished restoration projects.

Re: Shankar From Coimbatore

Whoa!!.. Shankar, thats one exhaustive collection you have! As Sutripta Sir mentioned, I see that comparatively, older enthusiast Yamaha's are less in your collection. Is there a reason?

In any case, a warm welcome to t-bhp. Hoping to learn a lot from you and your experiences!!..

Cheers,

Dhanush

Re: Shankar From Coimbatore

Thank you for all. I am entry level collector. Half of the year I am roaming around the world for my job now. I lost few of my bikes when I given for service to mechanic in coimbatore since I abroad. So I plan to keep RD 350 once I settle in India. I don't want to depend on anybody to maintain RD after getting one.I want to maintain it personally. So I am waiting right time to get RD.Presently I am collecting & restoring the bikes & cars which I already have experience in restoration.I need to go long way to explore more. Apart from the above photos I have few of other bikes in my collection.I will post it in future.
