Second Coming!

Hi Fellow BHPian!

have been an avid follower on TBHP, and though the moderators were kind
enough to accept my membership, I've not been an 'active' user all this while...

My membership was accepted just when I'd booked Fiat Grande Punto - the most anticipated launch at that time!

unfortunately, the car allotted to me has an under-body rust issues. And thanks to TBHP, and most importantly, fellow BHPian amogh from pune, who had exactly the same problems, i was alert enough to check it before it was registered. (of course PDI checklist was a great help there!)

I chose to go for my peace of mind after that episode, rather than waiting for another lot of vehicle promised after 2 weeks (since i almost waited for a month before all this happened). And since i had a pressing need for a vehicle, I went in for a Spark LT, which was delivered the next day of booking!Though i loved the vehicle (spark), somewhere i knew that i will be changing the car very soon, since it was bought in a hurry! And Finally after almost a year and a half, I've made the switch ...to a pre-worshipped Honda Civic! (Ownership review thread coming soon if i'll get the green lights from mods as far as privileges for pics + posts goes.)

GTO's civic was such a huge teaser for my decision making, and of course now i'm more than excited to share the ownership reviews for the car that i loved ever since it was launched. Hope to connect with you all.

Cheers!

Good on you to use the Team-BHP PDI checklist. It's truly a must-have.

Congrats on the pre-worshipped Civic. Hope you got a great deal, I'm seeing some fantastic cars in the 5.5 - 6.0 lakh range.

Re: Second Coming!

Welcome ameet and (whisper whisper) good start with the mods there!

I wonder how many people have gone in for pre-worshipped Civics after reading GTO's ownership thread! I know at least 3 now.

Care to explain the logic behind your handle? It's quite catchy!

Welcome on board mate. And longing to see your post on the pre-worshipped Civic. Nice that you got a good deal. What about the Sparky.
Enjoy the group and the car.

I agree Noopster, GTO's post was just the 'rationale' my luvlorn heart was looking for to go for a civic!

As for the Handle, i own a branding and design consultancy firm called pineapple consulting (Pineapple Consulting). Since i'm passionate about what I do for living, and hence when it came to choosing a handle for my other passion, choosing this handle was easy!

We chose pineapple cus it's fresh and juicy, considered to be auspicious (specially in western mythology), and the form of the fruit represents a structured approach at bottom, and flowy leafs at the top; the analogy for our design approach is the same, solid & structured approach to research first about WHY & WHAT to design, and then go free spirited (like leaves) for our creative output to come up with design that's strategically bang on!

wow, am i sounding like salesman? trust me, its passion!

Hi rajeev_k, got a decent deal on my sparky as well, after months of waiting for a decent prospect at tbhp and carwalle classifieds, and really getting ridiculous offers from agens (1.4 L for 2009 LT model), finally sold it to Carnation. Must say, that the overall experience in dealing with them is quite pleasing. I got 2.15L for the car that's really been taken care of well, for all the 27K kilometers of run it had in the two years of its stay!
