Hello from the UK

Hi all,

Just a quick introduction - I'm not so much a new user as a "long delayed in getting my intro done and into the forum" user. I've been lurking (reading) a lot of posts here and hope to contribute a few of my own.

I joined to get some of the reviews of some cars I was looking at here but found myself addicted to the new car stories and long term reviews.

A bit of background - Firstly I'm English, living in Scotland. I have an Indian Mrs and of a son who is Scottish. We hope to travel to India sometime in the future especially as the Mrs finds it so cold here. Ironically it is her choice to live in Scotland

My interests are cars, food (learning about "proper" Indian as quick as I can), technology - pretty standard "man" stuff I think.

Hope thats OK for start.

Morph.

Welcome Morph. I guess it is never late to give an intro.

Enjoy your stay and would be looking forward to your posts. Maybe to start with some TLs about the rides around the English countryside.

Re: Hello from the UK

Good to know you and welcome aboard!
I love your town and especially loved playing golf there at Prestonfield! Heavenly place indeed is Scotland!
I remember some time ago my wife and I were floating around the Isle of Skye and it was wickedly cold there. Having grown up in a cold place myself I thought I would easily be able to deal with it but alas, no it wasnt to be! I fell ill with a lousy throat and had to pop many a lemsip before I was halfway normal!
But that didnt stop me from enjoying the place and everything about it!
Do connect whenever you plan India.

Cheers!

Welcome to team-bhp, Morph!

Like shankar.balan said, Scotland is one beautiful place. I found Edinburgh to be a much more vibrant than any other city in the UK. By the way, whereabouts in England are you from?

Slàinte mhath!

Re: Hello from the UK

Apologies for the long delay and thanks to all for the warm welcome.

@coloneljasi I'm from the North West of England, so it wasn't that far to come.
