Esctatic, Speechless, On top of the world!

Hello dear family members,

As I am writing my introduction on Team-BHP, the kind of emotional high I am going through is indescribable. I dont remember when was the last time I felt this sense of personal achievement (maybe my last promotion!) after seeing the approval email from moderators about Team-BHP membership. I guess I was third time lucky. Thank you moderators from the bottom of my heart.

I have been closely tracking Team-BHP over the last one year and must have gone through almost all the various forums. Infact, I got so involved in this community that I could not stop myself from reading various threads throughout the day; either in office, or on personal laptop or checking my smartphone through TBHP Android app during travel time. And, I still felt I have not had enough and was hungry for more & more! I started feeling like a family member in this community by thinking of all of you as members of an extended family. For every question that I had in mind (Car & non-Car related), I could always find a community member sharing their experience & perspective about the exact same problem. I kept waiting for the day when I could be eligible to contribute my experiences which might benefit others as well. And the day has finally arrived!

A bit about me. I am from Bangalore and currently working as a Vice President in an MNC. I am originally from Mumbai and have been in Bangalore for the last 8.5 yrs with my lovely wife and two precious gems - my 2 daughters - one 5 yrs and other 5 months. I am insanely passionate about cars and it continues to grow day by day. Additionally, I am a big movie buff and religiously follow the English & Hindi movie thread on Team BHP. I own a Black Hyundai Santro XP & my most recent prized possession is Opulent Purple XUV 5OO W8 AWD. I love travelling and mostly enjoy road trips (Travelogues is my another favourite section). Currently developing an interest in Photography & Cooking!

I can understand your feelings as i was also feeling the same a month back. My membership was also approved in Feb 2012 itself and boy o boy how happy i was on that day. Hope to get a detailed review with lots of pictures of your XUV 500

Welcome to Team-BHP & congrats on the XUV500. It is indeed one heck of an SUV at a mouth-watering price. I remain concerned about the niggles though; if Mahindra sorts them out sooner rather than later, the XUV would be the benchmark amongst SUVs.

Hope we can look forward to an ownership report

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Feels awsome! After telling multiple friends and colleagues that I am an ardent follower of Team BHP, now I can proudly say that I am also a member.

Sorry for the misspelt subject line, I did a spell check for the body of the post but missed it for the subject line

I will be surely sharing the XUV500 ownership report shortly with loads of pictures too. May take another week since I am driving to Munnar and Thekkady tomorrow morning for a week long vacation. So also expect a travelogue from me shortly afterwards.
