Hello to all members,

To resonate every new members emotion - Thank you for approving my application to be a part of this unique community of Automotive enthusiasts.

I am Ameet Gokhale a 39 years old newbie on Team BHP (It is a rare honor to call one self a newbie at 39 so thank you). I grew up abroad and moved back to India in 2003. I am an entrepreneur and an avid follower of the forum. I live by a statement my 6th Form Head of Year had said to us on day 1 of school - Drive is the one thing you control! I have applied this not only on my professional and personal life but it also fueled my passion for all things with a motor.

I would like to thank Sawnand Inamdar and Subodh Kulkarni for introducing me to Team-BHP.

My current garage houses: A Chevrolet Cruze LTZ (Black Mumba as christened by Subodh) and a Maruti Ritz VDI
Past: BMW 735i, Mazda 626 GLXi, Ford Galaxy 1.9 TD, Ford Sierra Sapphire

The 2 cars that I would love to own are: Jaguar XJ-S and a 1956 Morgan Roadster.

Thank you for welcoming me Coolman. I will certainly scribe my experiences with these 2 vastly different rides. I hope I have something different to write than the vast number of pre-existing posts.
The one thing that I can mention right away is the fact that the Cruze after completing 10,000 kms has started giving me much better fuel efficiency (gone from 12 pre the small landmark to the current 14.5).
