Hi All,

I actually found out about this website on a visit to India. On another trip I met with one of my cousins that had just purchased an Enfield Bullet 350 Classic, I was in love.

As soon as I got home I Googled the Enfield Bullet and one of the top results was Team-BHP. I have read every post that related to the Bullet and am happy to say that I am now on the never ending waiting list for the purchase of a 500 Classic Maroon Chrome.

I have started traveling to India about 3-4 times a year now on Business and think this is the best means of conveyance (also one of the most beautiful).

Well anyway, hello to all and I look forward to being a part of this forum.

There is a huge following for the Enfields, and in the last year or so i've seen a lot more people buying bikes for recreational rides.

I see you own a E39 M5 in Cali! Do pen down a few lines about it, along with some pics?

Hi Rehan, thanks for the welcome.

The E39 I have had for about 6 years now and all I can say is that it is a part of the family and will always remain so. I seem to be one of those people that immediately regrets selling cars when I do sell them, so I am cursed with choosing what I buy carefully. I expect the Enfield to be with me forever as well!

Thanks, the wheels are stock, what I have done is to go for the square setup, i.e. rear wheels all around. The rears are 285/30/18's and the fronts are normally 245/35/18's. I have purchased the rears for the fronts to reduce understeer and also add to the aggressive front end look.

And yes, I am traveling to India quiet frequently now and spend alot of time in a little Hill station where there is nothing to do. But the roads are beautiful and riding a Bullet seems to be a great way to pass time.

Hey DesiOC! Welcome to t-bhp. that's a nice M5 there. And that's an awesome choice wrt RE 500.

Hi Mobike008,

Thank you for the welcome.

Your thread was one of the threads that convinced me to keep waiting for the maroon/chrome; until then I was willing to consider the black/chrome.

Its because of this wonderful forum that I am able to keep a good perspective and hold on to get the motorbike that I want rather than settling for the bike that I am willing to settling with.
