A BIG hello from Cochin !!!

Good evening to all BHPians,

I have been hooked to this wonderful forum for the past two years. Must confess I got really addicted to this wonderful place. Finally got accepted in my second attempt in 2 years. Its been a privelege and definitely a dream come true for me. A BIG!! thanks to the mods.

Born and brought up in Cochin, I currently stay in a small suburban town called Tripunithura. The Cochin BHPians will know what I'm talking about. A 20 year old student, I'm currently pursuing my B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kottayam. Since my early childhood days, anything and everything running on wheels have always managed to capture my attention and imagination.

The daily drive?? A 2009 Maruti Suzuki Ritz Vxi. The second car at home after a 1987 HM Ambassador sold off in 2001. Have a lot to share about the car.Will be doing so hopefully, in my ownership thread. The daily rides, a fully restored 1989 Bajaj Chetak belongs to my dad, a 2012 TVS Wego which mom rides and finally, again, a 2012 Hero Maestro, my dad's new ride. I ride both of these from time to time. Hoping to post the relevent ownership threads on these rides too.

In a nutshell, thats it about me. Looking to share views, and interact with all the fellow BHPians part of this wonderful forum.

I joined not long ago. My parents are from Thrissur, however, I will be based in Kochi as well in the new year, somewhere in the Edapally area. Its nice to see more chaps from Kerala and particularly from Cochin. I am hoping to meet other fellow-Kochi/kerala-BHPians when the meet up happens.

Hello Aswin. Welcome to the forum. Good to see another BHPian from Cochin. I just saw your message in the Cochin meet thread. So you have spotted most of our rides? That's cool. As for the meets, we do have general meets almost every weekend and long drives every 3 months. There's one drive coming up sometime during Jan last week or Feb first week. Am sure we will meet before that. Just subscribe to that thread so that you will be updated. Guess there's a mini meet next weekend.

Naveen, have always planned to attend one, but gets missed/forgets everytime because of other engagements (mainly because I work at Trivandrum/Bangalore and will be at Kochi only on alternate weekends). Will meet you guys one day soon.

Between Mangaayi and Valiyakulam bus-stops. Have you seen a board 'Radiant Enclave' on the right side while going from Mangaayi to Valiyakulam? I live there
