Finally I have the good fortune being inducted into this community. I’ve been a close follower of TBHP, been lurking aroung almost 4 years as a guest visitor.
Who am I? It’s a long story, but I’ll keep it short-I was born and brought up in Bihar. I’ve lived at multiple cities-Patna, Bhagalpur, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Ernakulam, Bangalore and I’m currently settled in New Delhi.
The love started with Trains, when I used to spend my childhood evenings with my uncle, bugging him about the Engines, Coaches, Signals etc. As I grew up, I fell in love with bikes, and progressed to cars, trucks, buses. Soon, I was hooked to everything that moved (on wheels, of course

). Those days, we did not have so much internet access, so I saved up my pocket money to buy Automotive Magazines-AutoCar India & Overdrive. I grew up with the words of Hormazd Sorabjee, Sirish Chandran, and similar folks. Another teacher I had was my elder brother (He currently works with Ashok Leyland), who is a Mechanical Engineer, and he was the one who explained me the intricacies of Automobiles-Engines, Gear Boxes, Power Trains etc. The love and deep bond with the Iron Horses and likes has only grown further.
I went on to pass out as a CSE grad, and now I work with a premier ICT Company of our country, as a Technical Consultant. The easier access to Internet, and fora like TBHP, xBHP etc. has fueled my addiction further. I still remember, reading a review of Suzuki Hayabusa, and its capability to reach 100KMPH within 3 seconds, and it took me time to digest the stat. I read about Bugatti Veyron and my mind was blown with the marvel of engineering that this car is.
Ending up here in TBHP, I think I’m in the right place, to cure my addiction. On this note, I would like to wind up my post and I hope to have an enlightening exchange of ideas and knowledge through TBHP. Thank you Moderators, for this opportunity given to me.
Godspeed folks.
