A BIG shout out to all members. I am Mario, 31 from Chennai.

I am an auto enthusiast (like to think of myself as being one). For many years I was able to improvise and satiate my wanderlust using my trusty RX-100 with frequent 300km jaunts in and around the Nilgiri hills. This phase made me really curious about the psychological potential that wandering can have on a few of us, it got my philosophical neurons firing also. Slowly, road trips began to take precedence and everything that happened in between was more like time being wasted. So that's how it started. Life happened, priorities changed, and while working in Bangalore, my fire was reignited when my colleague bought a new Zen (not Estillo) and we were able to paint the South RED! I bought a Santro and drove it till the wheels fell off (due to old age, not road rage! . Had to sell it and wait for the Gods to stop blessing me in "Kind" and asked for "Cash" instead.

I wanted to buy a reliable bike and was considering the Ninja-600, but also had to keep my wife's priorities in mind as she has tolerated back breaking long journeys on the bike with me and rain soaked days during the monsoons and I thought buying a new car would make her happy and solve the many problems we encounter everyday.
This is when I resumed logging on to Team-BHP (was an active user but not a member for many years) and after months of deliberation and endless forum surfing, I bought my NEW Grand I10 Petrol and at the same time got approval from Moderators (THANKS) to become a member. Woo Hoo!!
