Hello from Chennai

Hello Everyone,

Dreams may come true, it happened to me today when membership approval mail from TBHP was received.

Thanks to the Moderators for approving my membership. I am successful in my fourth attempt to enter into this Home of Indian Pertolheads.

On the introductory part, my name is Ashik based in Chennai. I am an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer serving in IT industry. From young age I had a passion for motorbikes and cars. For past four years I have been a passive observer of this forum. I have owned cars and bikes for more than fifteen years. But I have really gained knowledge on vehicle performance, their maintenance, etc. only after reading through this forum. Many contents on this forum enabled me in my car maintenance and detailing knowledge. Two years back, the in-depth discussion and honest opinion in this forum guided me to make a decision in my car selection. So after four years of passive reading I decided to seek membership of this forum to share my passion and knowledge with other members.

Chronology of cars owned:

Maruti 800 - five years
Santro Zing - seven years
Presently Toyota Etios - Two+ years

My car driving has been mixed with city traffic and highway drives. Generally once in a month I visit my native that is down south of Tamilnadu driving about 450 km at a stretch.

Bike ownership:

Suzuki Samurai - Ten years
TVS Victor - Four years
Presently Suzuki GSR 150 - Four+ years
Vespa Scooter VX - Two months (for my wife)

Elated to be a member of TBHP and looking forward to a wonderful experience and interaction with forum members.
