Sat Sri Akal

I wasn't this happy to get my promotion email as I was when I received the approval mail from team bhp (Okay I might be exaggerating a bit). But on a serious note, I feel privileged to be accepted and to be a part of this amazing forum I've been reading day in and day out.*

A quick introduction, I'm Harkirat Singh, turning 26 next month, a financial software developer working in Pune. Majority of my schooling was done in Delhi after which I moved here for higher education. An army brat who's been as much around tanks as around cars. But my love for cars began when I first drove my dad's Fiat Padmini. From there I moved on to Alto Vx 1.1 which I sold off a few months back after clocking 148000 kms. Bidding her goodbye brought tears to my eyes. Now I drive a petrol SX4 and I just can't get enough of her. Other cars in my family - Dad's Toyota Corolla Altis (4 speed automatic) and my mom's Maruti suzuki Alto K10 (love this fun packed tiny little machine).*

So that's a bit about myself. I'm really looking forward to share my experiences, learn a lot more and interact with everyone out here. Thank you team bhp for making me a part of this wonderful endeavour of petrolheads.*

Re: Sat Sri Akal

Thank you guys for the warm welcome.

And Yes, indeed a fan of Japanese cars. But these days I can't stop drooling over the A class. I know it's under powered but there's something about it that is absolutely addictive. More details on it when I post my self drive experience with ZoomCars.

Re: Sat Sri Akal

The first thing I wanted to do after being accepted as a part of this wonderful community of petrolheads was to buy Team BHP stickers. And these got delivered yesterday and here's the "temporary" outcome.

(Ignore the car cleaning stuff )

I'll post some more pics after I've washed my car

Re: Sat Sri Akal

Dear Harkirat Singh (paaji) - first of all, if I am correct, the complete phrase is "Jo Bole So Nahaal, Sat Sri Akaal"! I just love your community, my best friend is Jagjyot Singh Nanda "Jaggi" to us. You guys really live big! Welcome to TeamBHP.

I completely agree with you on the Alto K10. I bought a new one in August this year and except for the horrible JK tires, I'm enjoying myself. Keep revving!

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

You are definitely right sir. And yes we do live life king size
I used to drive an Alto VX 1.1 earlier. That car meant so much to me. So many memories. Amazing fun!
And thank you for the warm welcome.

Re: Sat Sri Akal

And that's it!

The ones left have been used by my brother for his K10.

I really appreciate the quality of these stickers. Simply superb! And just loved the transparent ones.
