Way to go Team-bhp!..Guy from DC and Hyderabad

Team-bhp! is awesome!.

I live and work in the Washington DC metro area. Actually from Hyderabad, India. Coming across this forum is a dream come true...I've always been curious about the kind of imported automobiles available in india and team-bhp is the place for that!....

I'am pretty impressed with the wealth of information found here and especially the enthusiasm of the members. Kudos to all the members for keeping this forum exciting and active!

I drive a Mercedes E320 in DC and an Indica V2 in India. Also ride a Kawasaki Ninja ZX7R.

As a hobby, I love to do some basic maintenance of my mercedes by myself .. like brake pads, rotors, Mass Air Flow sensor..and regular maintenance...Anything beyond that...I go to the dealer.

Ahhh... here joins yet another Hyderabadi! Welcome to the forum. So what's your real name? And out of curiosity, which school were you from here? (Just to keep a tab on who joins from my alma mater... the Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet)

Have a great time here.

Godspeed,

Alok

Hi 99w210, Welcome to the Team-BHP. Please do go through the board rules section.

Hows your E Class treating you? In terms of reliability and gremlins?

My Sweet BALENO

Hi Everybody!

This is another Hyderabadi.Have been living in Hyderabad for the last 13 years.Great city. And of course great forum TBHP.Thanks to one and all.
TBHP has helped me to select my new car BalenoLXI.She is simple, traditional in look but time tested, quite powerful(in 4th gear I can go from 20 to 80 KMPH)and gives me a smooth ride.During the recent rains(3days continuous)she did not let me down while cruising through almost kneedeep water many a times. My first service is due on 19th August.Any advice from any co-member for the first service?

Regards,

Debasis Chatterji

Thank you all for the welcome messages...

E class is one of the most reliable in the Mercedes stable. I've been pretty happy with it. Also, its easier to work on the Mercedes than my Mazda protege. Believe it or not, its sometimes cheaper to maintain a Mercedes than a Nissan Sentra -- I've changed my MAF sensor for $350, the same sensor costs $600 for a Nissan Sentra. ( and the irony is that the sensor fails quite often in a Nissan Sentra)
