Hello everyone!

Hey guys, so finally joining the community after months and months of reading.
We are about to add a new car to our stable of Skoda Octavia (2006), Vento (2010) and Mahindra Scorpio (2010). We have decided and booked a Volvo S80

. We did get a huge deal in it and that was the mani criteria. I will be posting the process and dealership review of this car considering there is no Volvo S80 information on the forum

Realized I needed to be more detailed. So here goes. I am 24 and from Ahmedabad. My username is my first name. I graduated last year with a Masters Degree and have returned back from the States. I am looking to start an industry (chemical) and that is well on its way but with the usual hiccups.

Also, I am a huge Formula 1 fan and have been since practially 1992/3. Even managed to attend the Malaysian Gp in 2000. Thats where my love for cars come from. Besides Formula 1, I love football (watching and playing).

Looking forward to have a great time in the community.

Welcome to Team-BHP!

Good luck with starting your chemical factory- does that mean you are a fellow chemical engineer?

I attended Sepang GP in 2005 myself- was good fun! These days not too much into F1 though.

The Volvo cars are gorgeous and impressive performers so am sure you will have a lot of fun with your new baby- do post an ownership review when you get her.

Thanks Vijay ! Even though we have booked the S80, we are looking at the 3GT as of now. Hopefully BHP helps me make my decision

I will try and do a long term review of our Octavia. It is amazing, got it second hand with 40Kms on the Odo and now its at 1.4 lakhs kms and hardly giving any issues.
