Hi Guys,
A quick intro - I'm a newbie and if you're reading this, then the mods have graciously decided that this first post is alright :-). I'm from Bangalore and got to know about this forum primarily through 'aggresive_anush' before going on to meet up the patrons of SAG racing - psycho, mclaren, v1p3r and co. (Now you know who I root for at the Jakkur drags).

I've been a regular reader and am quite impressed with the depth of info. you guys have to offer (as compared to auto mags that are well, just a little superficial). So, I've decided to take the plunge and join up ;-).

I've always enjoyed driving, and am a little biased towards pretty cars even if they aren't as good as something a little more staid. Presently, I prefer driving our accent to the santro. I also enjoy an on-off relationship with my slightly modded thunderbird.

It's good to be here and thanks for reading this!
Chao,
Somas

With an intro like that, what do ya expect? I place a lot of importance on the looks of cars as well.

Welcome to the Team-BHP.

Welcome to Team-BHP, Somas. Happy learning and sharing...

All cars should be good looking, there should a law against ugly cars.

Cheers,

Umm, anush is soon going to mend that situation with an rd350. There's this guy in my apts (here at chennai) who regularly picks up running condition rd's for 25k. So i guess it's not too pricey (if you know where to look). Anush, we want an rd! We want an rd!

v1p3r said SUPERbike, ie. 800cc + (we'll make that 600 for India) not the RD.

@ Steeroid,
Hi there. Yes, i do understand the difference. That was meant as a joke. (In the sense that the rd is almost a superbike, even though it doesn't have even half the displacement.)

@maxbhp,
Cool! I'm a big fan of american muscle cars from the 69 - 71 era. I know that's pretty narrow, but big blocks and cool designs came together for a brief fling. The result - beauties like the 1969 Boss 429 mustang, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS, 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T.
