[Asta_la_vista]

Hi petrol heads. Myself Asta_la_vista known by name Prasanth Krishnan or simply Prash for about 21 years.

I am from Coimbatore. I am doing my U.G final year in Mechanical Engineering. A car enthusiast from childhood, I grew up watching my dad drive his Contessa Classic, the ultimate poor-man's luxury car of the 90's.

Now I have a Merc C220 CDI for my outstation and highway runs and a Hyundai I20 for trips to my college. A 2013 BMW 530d does satisfy my dad and a Toyota Innova for the airport runs.

I am very excited about my 1st post in team-bhp. With all my heart wishing fellow members a very happy and safe motoring.

Welcome to the forum Prasanth. You have quite an enviable collection of cars in your family. Ever go ''inky-pinky-ponky'' while looking at the keys to decide which car to drive on a given day ?

Great to see you have a 530d. Had the pleasure of taking one for a short spin and it's a demon in an Armani suit.

Your i20 is a diesel too? That would make it torque monsters [almost] in their respective segments.

Thanks Tushar. Never went "inky-pinky-ponky" to decide which car to drive. Maybe take the car that matches the color of my shirt

Sadly my I20 is a petrol with ffe from Red Roster Performance. Didn't notice much perforamance gain though.

Will be trading my I20 Petrol for the Elite I20 diesel Asta in a couple of weeks. Waiting to start my ownership thread with my Elite I20. Others will follow soon. Thanks.
