Excited to be on the Team

Hello everyone,

I am 28 and married, hails from Kerala. Me and my wife, we both are doctors and lovers of long long roads. Until now I have owned a Petrol i20 and a Petrol SX4. My favorite companion is the i20 for all the road trips. We are planning to buy one Etios Liva for use at home. My dream vehicle is Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

My suggestion for any hatchback buyer with a budget, will be Hyundai i20, and Toyota Liva being a close second. And for those with even tighter budget my vote is for Renault Kwid. For those whom budget is no bar, I always suggest Polo GT TDI.

For a sedan seeker, my advice to go for Honda City, if petrol and Skoda Rapid, if diesel.

In C-segment automatics, nothing beats Skoda Rapid's DSG gearbox.

Compact SUV of choice- Hyundai Creta
MPV of choice- Toyota Innova Crysta.

Most sunroofs now in market are more Moonroofs. Moonroof is just a sunroof made of glass.

Very glad to be a member of this community.!

Thank you.

Hey sharmilsk, welcome to team-bhp !!!

With the plethora of choices available today in each segment of the car market, I would be totally confused if I had to buy a car today. But you seem to have it all mapped out.

Spent New Year at Wayanad couple years ago and totally loved the place.

Cheers !!!

Thank you. We're both doctors of medicine.
And yeah, that Shelby. Hopefully I'll own it one day.

I have read the posting rules.

About i20, I am preparing long term review, after 6 years of ownership. It is indeed a practical sedan in disguise. I'm trying to get a hold of the review format. And the car needs some washing before I can take some pics.

Thank you!

Those choices were made while discussing with people when they buy their cars. My personal choice right now, if I am buying one, would be Polo GT TDI.

Wayanad is a nice place indeed. Natural beauty and tricky roads. And we do have a great off-roading event called "Wayanad Thrills". I am not sure whether it's popular among Team BHP members. With some help I could post reports of the event.
