Greetings Team-BHPians!

I feel proud to be a part of the country's greatest automotive community and would take this opportunity to thank the moderators for accepting my membership request.

I am Jupanjot Singh, from Punjab.

I started following Team-BHP around 7 years back and finally, applied to be a member somewhere around December, 2016.

I love to drive around especially on open highways and hills. I did my Engineering from Chandigarh, then worked for a little more than a year in Ahmedabad and Bangalore and then, did MBA from Ghaziabad and currently posted in Angul, Odisha. I love to explore new places and so I'm enjoying the stay in Odisha.

My love for cars started at a very young age, seeing my dad driving and enjoying his time in his dark blue Maruti 800. And then about 7 years back I got hooked on to Team-BHP.com and since then, the forum has been a constant companion.

My first ride was a red colour Pulsar-180, bought in 2006 and sold in 2011. The bike travelled with me to a lot of places in Punjab, Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. The present rides are- Chevrolet Optra Magnum 2.0 TCDi LT- 2009 model, Ford Figo Titanium TDCi- 2011 Model. Both the cars have run a little more than 90,000 km.

Cheers
Jupanjot

Welcome to the family. This one website that I frequent the most. I have virtually stopped buying car magazine because all the news and data I need is always available right here on teambhp.

Thankyou! We had a couple of subscriptions for Auto magazines and they were dropped once I got hooked onto here. Once a car is launched I eagerly wait for the official reviews on the forum since all the other reviews seem very vague now.

Thankyou! Sure sir, I'll start compiling the ownership review very soon for Figo first.
I was going through your S-Cross's remap by Tune-O-Tronics. It sure caused an itch to get a remap for Figo since it's not a highway performer by any standards but can't really convince myself as it's run close to 95k km and it might affect the engine, turbo, etc and hence, reliability.

Anyways, here a couple of pics of the Figo.

I can understand the remap itch . All my diesel cars are remapped. It's not at all a bad idea to remap your Figo if your engine, turbo etc is in good condition. Check V Box 0-100 thread by Kryptonite, he was 4 seconds faster than stock in TOT remapped Figo .

Wow! 4 seconds quick is insane. It feels the chassis has a lot of potential but is let down by engine and this remap would've changed that all. I think, I'll have to seriously re-evaluate my choice for remap. I had almost finalised the DieselTRONIC unit.

Yes, it's better if you do. RD has single channel box for Figo. I had used single channel box in Grand I 10 and there was power gain. But, now I got remap from TOT. Car feels way more powerful and better FE too .
