In the zone, finally!

Hello Everyone,

Greetings from a fellow petrolhead and now a proud team-bhp member. For me it was second time lucky with the membership approval. Becoming a part of the team-bhp community was always on my radar since i came across the forum threads while casually searching for some automobile queries few years back, since then i have been completely hooked lurking around the threads every day. It would have sufficed to have been a casual browser of the pages, i.e. with the amount of details available on the website, but i felt this innate urge to be part of the discussions that enlivens the pages day in and day out. So here i am.

Am 31 years of age and presently working in the IT industry in Hyderabad. I am from a nondescript place called Dhakuakhana in Assam which takes around 3 flight changes + road and even a ferry ride occasionally to reach. Maybe i will put up a thread on this when i plan a journey to my hometown next time around. This apart in my growing up years, for myself or even for the entire neighborhood in general, any kind of an automobile was a novelty. However my father did own a Rajdoot, the famed Yamaha RX100 and a Bajaj Chetak. I also remember distinctly that he sold the Yamaha for a profit due to hikes in the prices and general non-availability, don't recall the exact year though. I got my first taste of how driving a vehicle feels like on a Mahindra Max. I currently own a pre worshiped Alto LXI which is serving me well and I am saving up on Vitamin M so that in a couple of years i get to own a proper current generation dream machine of my own

That said i feel truly blessed to be in team-bhp finally. At this moment i would like to thank the moderators for letting me in and all my friends out there who lent me their cars to hone my driving skills over the years. Looking forward to the times that i will be spending as a team-bhp member this day on, surely I will try my best to keep up the ethos of this hallowed community. So as we say it, Keep Revvin' you all.

Best Regards.

Wow! Yeah, you must definitely put up a thread after visiting it next. Will be an interesting read.

That bike sure has a cult following. I read on the forum about certain examples going for well over a lakh.

Owned one for a year. Loved it.

Welcome to the forum

Do keep an eye out for Hyderabad meets. They happen quite regularly - in fact one of them is being planned right now !
