A New Member, Nura, Says Hi

Dear Team-BHP members,
A very big hello from me, Nura, a new member. I am 55 years old, live in Kolkata & earn my bread & butter helping people, who suffer from skin diseases. I came to know about this forum through Manish of incaracoustics.com & came to know about him while googling for info on mobile audio. I presently drive a Santro '02 but am keen to get a slightly bigger set of wheels before this year ends. My present in-car-entertainment consists of a Sony CDX-MP50 head-unit, Pioneer 4" speakers in the dash, Pioneer tweeters on the dash & Pioneer ovals in the rear. I would like to add an amp & a sub & will probably bug everyone by posting lots of queries in the ICE sub-forum, which incidentally I have been visiting over the last few days & having a whale of a time.
Thanks a ton for having me.
Nura.

Thanks elf, rjstyles69, sreenivass, amtak & theMAG for your wonderful welcome messages. Yes amtak I am a skin specialist, the tech name is dermatologist. A dermatologist's job is to look at a rash briefly & give it an unpronounceable name.

Hey! That's my job on the forum, considering most BHPians are rashes or variants thereof.

I look at BHPians briefly & give them unmentionable names. Sometimes, I also address BHPians briefly & give them unpronounceable rashes.

Nura,

Always wanted to ask this to a dermatologist - but never knew one: Do you guys dream of rashes in your sleep as well ?

theMAG,
Never met a dermatologist? You lucky guy! We have a reputation for never letting go a patient.
By the way, I see rashes in my nightmares. In my dreams, I only see Alfa Romeos.

Welcome aboard Nura! Say...you have any particular models in mind as your replacement ride?

PS : Try editing your signature in the UserCP section.

satish_appasani,
Thanks. Nice to hear that you had the CDX-MP50 too. I am in the process of choosing an amp & a sub for it & have posted for advice in the ICE sub-forum. Would appreciate your suggestions too.

sajo,
Thanks not only for the warm welcome but also the advice re the signature.
I want the biggest car that my measly 5.5 - 6 lakhs :( can fetch, which in effect is a toss-up between the Esteem, the Ikon Flair, the Indigo & perhaps the Baleno at a discount. It is rumoured that the Esteem, Flair & Baleno are going to get a facelift so at the moment I have decided to wait for a while.
Would appreciate your advice.
