Hello BHPians,

I am a software professional working in the wireless communication industry. Born and brought up in Thiruvanathapuram, currently based in Hyderabad.
I have been following some of the threads and few active members for some time now, however it took a pandemic to get me through the membership process.

Let me tell about myself together with the cars my family have had since I can remember.

Zen MH410
I was in high school, when I got introduced to a pre-worshipped first generation, petrol 5 speed manual, red beauty. One of the early batches of Zen which was having most of the parts imported from Japan.
Fast forward, I turned 18, got driving license, started taking her for city drives.
Later I graduated and moved out of town in search of a career.

Wagon R LXI
I completed 1 year in Software industry, father let go of Zen and brought in a brand new Wagon R (first generation second facelift, poolside blue). Almost 11 years now, still doing its job.

Grand i10
I was based in Bangalore, got married and started thinking a of getting a new car with my own finance. Brought in a new stardust Grand i10 sportz variant, 1.2 L NA petrol, with 5 speed manual transmission (First generation, prefacelift).
6 years and 32k in ODO later, it is still a no-nonsense people mover.

XUV300
2020 started with a bang when I brought home this aquagreen beast on 1st of January. 1.5 L 4 cylinder Turbo Diesel, W8 varaiant, AMT transmission (BS4) . Well built, much refined, decent ride quality and safest Indian made car. It has been 8 months and 4.2k on the ODO, not much run due to the current situation.

Finally, great to be here and here's to new beginnings!
