Lurking behind the shadows for so long, absorbing all the good stuff from the forum. Helped a couple of my friends out in sharing some information I have learned and taking the credit; it should be considered as plagiarism, lol. Felt that I had to join this incredible community, and boy, I'm glad that I made it.
I am 25 year old and come from a humble small town called Thiruvarur near Tanjore in Tamil Nadu, currently residing in Melbourne, Australia. I grew up in Dubai since my parents being an NRI, drooled at cars all the time and wondered if there's any way to own these beautiful machines in this lifetime, and hey, you never know. Fortunes do change, and you got to keep at it and strive forward. I completed my mechanical engineering and am now a trainee pilot (yes, a career change). Also, help my family in some business endeavors whenever I can. Love to drive and fly, considering the fact I've wanted to work along the lines of my passion. I must confess that I have more to gain from this community and little to give back (lack of knowledge compared to the gurus here).
The love for motorcycles and cars grew from a young age after witnessing my uncles Yamaha RX135 ( what a spanking sound that bike is) and ambassador that I liked a lot during my childhood days and partly because of the fans fitted in the car and used to fiddle with it all the time. Being an introverted person, the best friend, or the best relationship I had was these machines. However, I consider each machine to have life and emotions, just like any other human being.
I am naming a few vehicles from the garage at the moment.
Toyota Fortuner
Kia Seltos
Mercedes Benz C43 AMG
Audi Q7 2019 diesel
Kawasaki ZX 10-R
Harley Davidson sportster 48
Duke 200
Currently using trams to get to the airport where I train since it's accessible, and can't be bothered driving for now while the pandemic enforced lockdowns and work-related stress takes a toll on me.
Always make it a point to visit India whenever I can and drive around to the maximum, eager to settle down in India at some point soon. My dream is to own a Nissan GT-R that is quite practical on our roads, and I have the chance to take it out on almost all kinds of roads. Another car I genuinely want is a riced out Maruti 800 or Zen ( yes, you heard it right!). There is just something about that car that I admire and not know why.
Team bhp is a source of inspiration for me for a different reason; contrary to popular opinions, I try to improve my writing and learning at every chance I get. I'm baffled at how the writing is extraordinary and engaging to me in this forum that's astounding. I take this opportunity to express my appreciation to fellow members and mods for upkeeping the quality standards and, in turn, helping laymen like me gain real, unbiased information. Apologize if I made this post longer than it should and the mistakes in my writing. I'm sure that it should all improve and get better with time; thank you for reading.
