Hello from Pune

I am extremely excited at getting my membership request approved finally (this was my 2nd attempt).
I am a Program Manager working for a Software firm based in Pune.
Automobiles i currently own / owned in the past are
- Honda City 2012 (this is my current car. my personal favourite based on all the cars that i have driven)
- Honda CRV (drove for about 3 years while in the US. Fantastic SUV)
- Hyundai Santro Xing (was my first 4 wheeler which i drove for 5 years before upgrading to a sedan. Had a trouble-free ownership)
- TVS Victor (My first and only 2-wheeler)

My other areas of interest
- Wildlife and bird photography (am on Nikon gears) which makes me travel
atleast 2-3 times a year within India. Hopefully can get to travel
once the current pandemic settles down.

I find the forum extremely informative. Infact the ownership reviews, PDI checklist etc helped me immensely during my car buying.
I also find the Travelogue section extremely interesting and informative.
Look forward to sharing some of my experiences and learning from the others on this forum

Welcome over here.
Most of us came here for some specific information about finding related to cars. I found the forum when I was looking for exhausts, but stuck around for things that aren't even auto related!
Stay around, respond, and this place becomes addictive.
Oh, traveling and photography to some measure, are sort of staples here, so you'll find a lot of both.

Please do share pictures when you get a chance. I am a Nikon fan but have never done any wildlife photography. The lenses are prohibitively costly! Please give us a bit more details about your photography gears.

Thanks a lot BlackPearl. I started my wildlife photography journey around 2012 with Nikon D7000 and 70-300 VR lens and have over the years upgraded gradually. I now own a Nikon D850 and Nikkor 600 FL lens.

Thank you Jeroen. I have been an ardent follower of some outstanding photographers in Team-BHP. I definitely plan to put up my travelogue of my trips to Mahananda/Latpanchor and Tal Chappar which i did before the lockdown began. What scares me is the lofty standards set by some of the stalwarts which i am expected to meet
