My first post

Namaskaar all,

Today I am very happy as finally became a member of this prestigious community, This was my 2nd attempt.

I am from Bihar, currently working in Bangalore as an iOS Developer.
In my hometown my family own an alto, in BLR currently I ride Yamaha FZS.

Just before the lockdown we were blessed by a baby girl, while taking her for regular vaccination with my wife, we felt the need of having a car (there were many more other reasons as well) so I have booked a Tata Nexon (Going to be next post on ‘I Booked my car’ thread)

I promise to maintain the quality and integrity of this forum from my end.
Best wishes for Team-BHP, May the Team-BHP flag keep flying higher and higher.

Re: My first post

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

A belated congratulations with your new baby. I recognise your thoughts of getting a car. Our daughter and son in law blessed up with our first grandchild some six months ago, Bella. They never saw the need for a car. But coming to visit us just the two of them, or now the three, makes a big difference. Its all very well busses and trains and walking, but when you have a baby and the kit that typically needs to come along, a car starts to make a lot of sense. So they bought their very first car too, a little while ago.

Enjoy your little girlie and make the most of the car too.

Speaking of flags, why don't we have an actual TBHP flag?

Thank you Jeroen for your wishes.

While traveling on bike with her, sometime she suddenly try to standup which feels very dangerous. Also in bike we can't travel with her for long distance because it will be not possible to feed her in bike, In car she can travel comfortably on ISOFIX child seat, Due to this last reason we have cancelled all our POST covid short ride plans.

Hopefully the new year we shall be able to travel together somewhere
Will share our experience here on Team BHP

Lots of love for your Grandchild!

Re: My first post

Welcome and congratulations, Chandan!

Good decision to get a car; it brings about a lot of flexibility to travel, especially in environments such as now.

Perfect; you can refer to this thread for pointers.

https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/road-...bies-kids.html ("Child Seat" for Babies & Kids)

I got my daughter the Graco 4Ever 4-in-1 on her first birthday and she really enjoys it. We've done a few five hour journeys and two ten hours' and she was comfortable throughout.

Start your daughter young and get her hooked to traveling!
