Hello Everyone

Finally got entry into Team-BHP on my second attempt. Thank you for approving my application.

I am a 52 year old male. I am a programmer by profession. I stumbled across Team-BHP while I was researching my car purchases in the past. The reviews and user experiences in the forum really helped me to make informed choices.

My first car was a Maruti 800 (Before that I had a Bajaj Kawazaki bike, but I am a bad rider) bought in 1997. Since then I have owned a Matiz (Everyone else was buying Santros. I didn't like the look of Santro), an Opel Corsa 1.4 (Everyone else was buying Ford Ikons. The salesman did a good job of selling the Corsa to me. It was underpowered - should have bought a 1.6. Used to love the door thud though) and a Toyota Innova Petrol (Everyone else was buying Diesel. By now you must have noticed a streak of going against the flow ). I sold the Innova in the middle of the pandemic after using it for more than 15 years. Still regret selling it.

Currently I own an i10 automatic and a Kushaq 1.0 Ambition AT which I bought recently.

In 1999 I had written an article on traveling by road from Bangalore to Kerala.
No such information was available on the internet at that time. It is no longer live but I found an archived version on the Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org/web/20080515...rtokerala.html).

Looking forward to active participation in the forum.

Re: Hello Everyone

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I haven't done much driving with the Kushaq yet. Will add my impressions to the Kushaq thread as soon as I add some miles.
