Hey everyone I'm Aayush from Vadodara and I've been reading on TBHP since 2019 now but only made my own account recently. There are so many people with such great knowledge about their cars and bikes, and that knowledge is spreading like crazy! I'm only 18 and I want to be an automobile engineer so of course, cars and bikes are the holy grail.
We currently have two cars in the household, a 2003 Maruti WagonR LXi and a 2017 Honda City ZX iVTEC. I've booked an RE Interceptor 650 but after reading a post from TBHPian snehanshuck, I may be leaning towards getting a used old car and treating it with love and passion. My next goal would be getting some sort of vehicle (car or bike), preferably after getting advice from TBHP. I hope to have a great bonding and interactive time here with all fellow petrolheads. Welcome to TeamBHP Aayush. It's nice to see another 18 year old on here.

Even I'm in the same situation as you, I am waiting for my license to come through so that I can go to the local RE showroom to book a Continental GT650 but I too have been having second thoughts and I also might be looking at a used car instead.

If you're interested I've already made a thread discussing the best starter cars under 4 lakh.

I understand your inclination towards procuring a used car instead of a brand-new Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 but I am still curious to know whether you have taken a test ride of the motorcycle or not
