A big hello to BHPians

A big hello to BHPians, and thanks to the moderators,

I have been a reader of this forum since I bought my first car in 2009 (a second hand Maruti Zen) and started going on road trips from Delhi in India.

Since then I have owned a Honda City in China, Swift Dzire (in Bangalore), and VW Vento, Hyundai Santro and Mahindra Scorpio (all in Delhi).

I now own a Toyota Fortuner (in Delhi), and Mercedes GLB 200 and a Mini Cooper (in Switzerland).

Majority of my driving experience is in foreign countries. Apart from driving, I enjoy music, food, travel (more than 50 countries before I stopped counting) and variety of beverages - coffee and tea. I enjoy immersing myself in foreign cultures and that is a big part of my lifestyle and day job too.

I have a wife and two daughters aged 11 and 6. We have lived in many countries, enjoy holidays and go on a lot of road trips so the main idea behind joining this forum now is to post travelogues and share experiences.

Hope they will be useful for fellow BHPians!

Re: A big hello to BHPians

Hello there,

Your handle surely goes with your introduction. 50 countries is quite the number. It will be a pleasure to read your stories from around the world and moreso on the culture and food.

Its nice that your family enjoys travelling too. That makes things really easy.

Coming to your cars, that's quite a range of wheels you have been through. I too had a Zen way back between 2001 to 2006.

Apart from your travel stories, looking forward to reading ownership reviews of the cars you own as well.

See you around.

Hello BHPians

Thanks to the mods for accepting me into the forum. I have been a lurker in the forums since early 2019 and my interest has once grown since then. Finally decided to join the forum and give my input on the topics I can.

Excited to be a part of the forum!

Regards,
