A warm hello to all you wonderful Automobilers!

Thank you for accepting me as a member!

I am glad to be joining this forum after being a lurker for long. After learning so much about all the fellow-travellers that I unknowingly spend so much time with (when driving), I hope to give-back /add-something meaningful.

I have been driving for a good chunk of my aging life.
While I am not an expert on automobiles, what brought me here is a fascination with those moments, when Vehicle and I mind-meld and explore the open road (safely).

When I first landed up here, I was looking for ways to take care of my car - a petrol Fiat Linea. Spending time in the forums helped me articulate (in my head) why I enjoyed driving the Linea so much. And am now looking at motorbikes as the second movement of my driving jingle.

While I am likely to lurk some more (in-real-life too, I tend to be quiet], I have now one less hurdle to cross when struck by a shareable thought.

The Fiat Linea is a wonderful car. Tank like build, brilliant driving dynamics and an awesome petrol engine. Is yours the T-Jet or the 1.4 NA?

Hi petrol head, welcome to the gang. Even I am a newbie; I jumped into the bandwagon after lurking around for almost 5 years. I have realised that every second spent in this forum is worth it.

Thank you for the welcome! It is the T-Jet.
And you are right. Its handling/dynamics are amazing, the build leaves me feeling very safe and the engine is breath-taking.

My Linea is a T-Jet; and it is a dream. In the 2-airbag days to which this belongs, its build has always made me feel safe [esp. each time I "thunk" the door shut].

Between it being my first ABS and its amazing handling+dynamics, I despair of ever being able to consider another vehicle objectively.
