Hello - members of this forum,

I am a retired Engineer residing in Chennai. I came across this forum while searching for details of various makes of cars before purchasing a second hand car for my local use.

After going through various options, I purchased a 20month old ALTO LXI from Maruti True value at a cost of 2.6 lakhs including poineer music system, central locking.,etc.

Hope I will be able to get advice from the knowledgeable members of this forum regarding usage and maintinance of car.

Welcome vinsen,

Cant go too wrong with an Alto. Its a fantastic small car and a couple of light-years ahead of the 800. The price you paid is high by bombay standards, but I am sure you research in Chennai before signing up. There is plentiful advice available for your Alto here.
