Well, hi there. I'm funnysaltbrick (name to be hidden for safety reasons). My membership got approved sometime in 2024 June. I've always been a gearhead since I can remember. As a bright eyed child, my fascination with vehicles started at an odd spot in showrooms. Hero Honda was my first love in that sense but this was 2011, so that love didn't last long. But I did find spaces to channelise that passion into. Need For Speed, Hot Wheels and a LOT of Auto magazines on family trips.

I've lived all my life in Salem, Tamil Nadu. It's a beautiful place surrounded by the hills. Yercaud is awfully close. Currently, I'm stationed in Bengaluru till 2025 May for educational purposes and Bengaluru has been a kind home to me in the past 2.5 years since I moved in here on August 2022.

I'm currently pursuing my final year of undergraduate in Journalism at a reputed university in Bengaluru (again, due to privacy, would rather not reveal this) and I aim to end up in academia in the distant future, hence, the "soon to be professor" in my profession tag.

My hobbies would involve Photography, Media production and also, football. I've been actively shooting since 2020 and I have a Canon EOS RP right now as my main shooter. Photography is something that I have extended interests in. Same goes for writing. Hence, my undergraduate is in Journalism as both my passions for writing AND photography can be merged here. (fun fact, I'm the only Arts graduate in my family so far. Everyone else has been a science graduate )

Another set of interests for me is sports. My leanings in motorsports are for MotoGP and WRC. I support Aprilia (ex-Suzuki fan here) in MotoGP and Hyundai in WRC (Ford and M-Sport have lost the plot). In other sports, my interests lie in Cricket and Football. In cricket, I support the Australian national team (for reasons of passion) and if we had to talk IPL teams, the team I support is Rajasthan Royals. There's something to them that makes me click. In the world of Football, my passion is with Wolfsburg (explaining why I have a picture of Edin Dzeko as my profile picture) because, well, Volkswagen and Kevin De Bruyne and also, Inter Milan, for their extensive relations with Pirelli. In the national team front, apart from the Indian NT, I also find Netherlands and Japan as my favorites in the national team brackets.
