Hello everyone from Bengaluru and Bihar

Hello enthusiasts,

I am Kumar Saurabh, 38, from Bengaluru. I lived in different parts of India throughout my life for education and jobs. Born in Bihar, Schooling in Bihar, College in Delhi and Mumbai, Jobs in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. I work as AGM - Global Marketing (Europe) for a US based firm.

I am a big time auto enthusiast with a moderately fair knowledge about cars. One of my friend pushed me to join TeamBHP community and that's how I am here. I have driving experience of >2 lacs kms across all types of terrains (dont like much off-roading though ), in India as well as abroad.

Have owned an i20 Asta earlier and currently drive the XUV700.

Just posted my first ever blog on TeamBHP talking about longest trip ever of 18000 kms in Travelogue section. Looking forward to learn and contribute within the community.

Hi Kumar Saurabh, welcome to Team-BHP!

I just checked out your travelogue about your 4-month-long road trip. It is pretty awesome and has some really good pictures. Clearly, you guys had a blast!

Just out of curiosity, after spending so many days on the road, now that the trip is over, have you managed to adjust to normal life or are you still living your dream?

It's a pleasure to have you on-board, Kumar Saurabh and I am looking forward to reading about the future trips that you have mentioned. Good luck!

Cheers,
Utkarsh

Hi Utkarsh, thanks, buddy.

I have 1600 pics from this trip alone, haha. I haven't done justice to my trip by writing it in such a small blog, but that's what I had to do. You are absolutely right. I'm still kind of lost in those roads, mountains, and clouds. Let me share a funny incident after a week of this trip. I was sleeping and suddenly got up at around 3 am, thinking I was in Shoja, HP, and standing on the same balcony of the Odin hostel where I had stayed. And the fear of standing on the balcony was so real that I couldn't move myself from the bed for 10-25 seconds. I realized I was back in my place when I saw the other side of the room with a street lamp view. Ha ha ha.

I will share my experience now quite often. In November, I will be doing Patna—Varanasi—Ujjain—Baroda (Someshwar)—Nasik—Pune—Aurangabad—Hyderabad (Srisailam)—Rmaeshwaram/ Dhanushkodi—Bengaluru and will share my experience. Thanks for your encouraging words, buddy.
