Hurray!

Hi BHPians

Hurray! I got accepted in the forum. That was my first reaction seeing the approval mail, after several failed attempts.

About me:
As the name suggests, I am from the Biryani town Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. Currently living in Bangalore, KA. I’m in my late 30s, Enjoying the twists and turns of life, like a twisted mountain road that hold a surprise at every corner. I’m a mechanical engineer by profession who loves to explore places by road.

My Rides:

My love for bikes started with my dad’s IND SUZUKI. Had my driving lessons in the same. But when it was time to own my own two wheels, was offered my sister’s Bajaj Sunny (don’t know how many of you will remember that). Started from Sunny, I slowly graduated to a TVS 50, then to a TVS Centra in my college days. And once I got a job in Bangalore and started earning, my HELIUS was the first thing I bought myself, a Bullet ELECTRA 350. And that’s when the rides started. I love SOLO rides and have covered most of the southern states in my HELIUS.

Then, the inevitable happened, I got married. My two wheels turned to four. Entered a Ford Figo, my very own four wheeler, after my family’s Indica V2. Over the years, as the family grew, I have owned an i20, XUV 500, XUV 700 and have covered more than 4L Kms combined.

Currently, HELIUS has given way to the SPIT-FIRE (I know, I keep naming my bikes randomly) RE Interceptor 650 and on the four wheeler front I have a Grand i10 Nios and pre-loved 2012 Fortuner. Will update photos in the next post.

Now all that being said, I’m finally a part of the motor heads, who helped me decide what to buy and solve the problems I faced in those purchases. Thank you moderators for accepting me to be part of this forum.

This being my first post here, I’m ready for feedback, comments and questions if any.

Cheers

Welcome buddy,

Even I got accepted today. The feeling is the same as yours. Thankful for the ability to communicate with all the BHPians who inspired me.

Welcome TN_57!

Congratulations on finally making it to the forum. Handover scooters are a universal thing for the younger sibling. It was the TVS Scooty Pep for me. I must say that you’ve owned a good set of wheels through the years.

Looking forward to reading your experiences with them.

See you on the forum!

Welcome TN_57 to this amazing forum. My first stint with bikes was also with my father’s IND Suzuki. It was bright red, and one of the first 5 bikes delivered in state of Madhya Pradesh (1st one in my city of Gwalior). My father tells me people used to gather around in public places when he parked to just look and touch the bike, it was a special one at that time amidst all the Vespas and Chetaks
