Road to Team-BHP: Incognito

Cars fascinated me since I was 4. Fascination turned into chaos and anarchy, as I took to the Kolkata roads some 22 years later in my new Alto LXI. And in all those years, what I gathered about cars is that, there's an accelarator which accelerates, a brake which you must use when honking doesn't work and a steering wheel which feels incredibly smooth when you are high on Vodka.

The next 1.5 yrs was all about driving and spending quality time with BlackPear (fellow BHPian with a need for speed), which has brought me here. But do not get me wrong friends, I am pretty fast on Kolkata roads. (On my day I can take on bicycles, trams and the odd Maruti 800 with an L tag hanging from the rear) and yes very very safe. (Only once I hit this lamp post speeding towards me from the other side.)

As a family we also own a Ford Ikon Flair. Dad Almighty gets to drive it most of the time. He believes in the golden proncipal, "You should never lend your car to someone, you have given birth to". So by now you must have figured out that I love to write more than I love to drive.

Oh yes, the boring part, in my spare time do a bit of coding, a lot of decoding and some unputdownable stuff for an IT company. (Previously this company used to manufacture Business Machines, Internationally)

Well, you can catch him out on the technicality that he is no the one who "gave birth" to you....i hope.

Thanks Planet, in fact I guess I know u too. I was always jealous of the last roll no in my class. It's so much easier during those oral tests

@ Incognito - we have a bunch of pointers in the Kolkata gang. i am sure you know BlackPearl (Sumitro) & vrooooooom (Pushpak). the rest of the gang are nikunj_cal (Nikunj - HS - Sec-E), Me (Sumantra) and last but not the least Shuvd (Shuvabrata). all of us belong to the same batch of 1997 Madhyamik. what about you?

but i somehow cant recollect your face. which section? which batch?

Edit: Tamaghna Bhowmik??

too bad that the best re-union wwas couple of years back. our school's re-union is more Fashion conscious now (fashion shows, celebrity guests and all) - they even stopped serving booz.
