New Member From Pune!!!

Hello everyone!

Vivek Jayasheel from Pune here. M/33, documentation specialist with an American MNC, with a part-time job I hesitate to mention

Heard about this forum from ANOTHER great forum I love frequenting: rddreams.com.

The love of my life is a completely un-stock Yamaha RD-350 (the list of mods is exhaustive, will cover that in a separate post) engine done up by the great man himself, Ron Chinoy, God bless him.

Not much of a car person anymore, but have owned/driven:
Contessa Classic (dad's office car, learnt to DRIVE in this baby and my favorite Indian car to date)
M-800 - my college car.
Gypsy MG410 - second college car.
Esteem - First car I bought with my own money when I started working.
Zen - First first-hand car I bought with my own money. Chose a smaller car for congested Pune streets. Runs no mods except for a UNI sheet air-filter that seems to help overall performance and strangely, refinement.

Want to own a pristine black or white Premier Padmini someday.

My list of bikes is not very long unfortunately, started riding a RX-100 at age 13 which I soon got bored of, and bought a KB-100 RTZ in 1990. I consider this to be the definitive handler and haven't found anything that comes too close (maybe the old CBZ does). Also had a Genesis-600 (FZR Pure Sport) in my care for 3 years, but it never belonged to me. That was a hooligan. The RD is a recent acquisition (2005) bought from Nasik. All the performance mods on it were completed only by early 2008. Currently riding it in cafe-racer trim (low handlebars and seat, rearsets, weight-reduction). Will post pics soon.

I am quite interested to know what your part-time job is, dare i ask?

I'm sure you'll have a great time here with the other RD owners and not to mention the fiat-wallahs who will push you closer to your black or white padmini....

Welcome aboard Vivek. There are loads of bike aficionados on the forum and I'm sure they'll love to hear about your RD-350 and teh mods done to it.

Well looks like your in the perfect place. We have our very own fiat specialist in Pune itself. Search for Karlosdeville on the Forum and youll know what I mean.
