Greetings petrol based bipeds!

Hi,
After a lot of agonizing I finally have given up on trying to write the perfect intro and am just going to plunge in.
My name is Roy and I am an architect from Bangalore. I drive a '07 silver Swift Vxi (completely stock). One of these days I know that I am going to go bonkers and start modding it.

Back in '95 I dabbled in a bit of rallying on my Suzuki Shogun (yes I still have the bike). I have ridden in the Kadur Safari (Mysore 1995), KMSC picnic rallies (entire 1996 season) and some local club events.
These days I am more likely to be charging about on the highways in my car looking for the perfect sunset and the perfect kebab or dosa at some nondescript dhaba by the roadside.

And, lest I be accused of practising some form of gas station apartheid, I would like to say that I used 'petrol based bipeds' as a generic term for all TBHP members. I greet you with equal enthusiasm irrespective of which dispenser you use at the pump.

Right! Now to work my way past that 50th post.

Welcome Roy.

I hope you do not 'architect' stuff by just 'plunging in' :-)

Have a nice time here and do let us know about the tales of rallying on Shogun -- the BOSS.

Cheers,

Hell, that intro turned out just fine. Welcome Roy! Don't worry about the modding part :

1. A little time with us will ensure that your wallet, bank balance, investments, savings and cash on hand are emptied out.

2. You are in Bangalore - the tuning capital of India!

We'd appreciate your taking a quick pitstop by our board rules section, just once, for the sake of familiarisation.

Welcome to the forum Roy! That was a nice intro, how about a thread reminiscing your days as a rally rider? Might be of help to people thinking about rallying.

Thats a nice intro Roy. Welcome to the land of petrol heads, where you belong. The Swift is a great hatch. Now that you've logged in, that stock Swift isnt going be stock for too long

Before getting the modding bug, take look at the rules to understand the forum better.

Welcome to Team BHP
