Finally here!

Hi all,

After a long wait, I am finally here! Been reading this forum for over 2 months now and now I can post.

Bit of an intro - I am Sandeep from Bangalore. 27 year old MBA and soon to be car owner. This is going to be my first car. I am waiting for the release of the Grande Punto next month to make a choice between that and the Palio MJD. I was very keen on the 1.6 Palio, but not anymore. I have a feeling that the model will get discontinued pretty soon.

I have been driving for almost 10 years now - dad's cars

- M800, Indica petrol. I am not much of a bike person and my two wheelers have been restricted to the scooty and activa (my current vehicle). Just cannot stand the hassle of manouvering the big bikes in traffic!

Cant wait for the release of the Punto and make my decision! The plan is to take off on impromptu holidays with friends after I attain independent mobility!

Fingers crossed.

Will meet everyone in the various threads in due course. Cheers!

Welcome indigoedge!

The first car will always be special and exciting. All the more if it is newly launched. No guesses here, buy a punto and hit the roads.

Welcome to the forum Sandeep , i too have the same dilemma as yours
GP 1.4 or Palio 1.6 . 1.6 may be discontinued but i just love the car.
