I love quick getaways

Hi BHPians,

Once in a while I love to escape from the city grind and drive off in my Swift to some of the lovely getaways in Maharashtra. MTDC has some lovely picturesque places along the coast and on the hillstations, including one inside a fort with a cable car to reach it.

I got the Outlook Traveller guide a while back and over the past few years have been to many interesting places.

Anyone who shares my passion can get in touch for advice or to getaway for a drive too would be cool.

Heres a place i went to a few weeks back, check it out. (Not quite MTDC though) : Machan
Might put a travelogue up soon.

Would like to see some great travelogues of places close to bombay from you if you have any.
