Holla BHP-ians,

Finally, I was able to get inside the most coveted exclusive club. Always wanted to be here, but I was just lazy.

My name is Souvik, 30 years and I am from Bangalore. Work in a company to earn money and then spend that money to travel. And if I end up saving some of that, I put that aside for my car.

I have a Swift VXI-ABS. My first ever car!! When I bought the car (hereby named as Schumi – you guessed it right, he is RED), I did not know driving. My friend got it for me from the showroom and parked it in front of my house. Every night when I went back home after work, I used to:

- sit in the car and “pseudo” drive (making weird noises from my mouth)

- start the engine on neutral and press the accelerator (and then again make the noise from my mouth). I was actually scared that if I pressed it harder, the car might just move!!

- press the horn

- switch on and off the head lights and the indicators

- some more of these quite embarrassing things!

After 2 months (seriously) of doing that, one fine mid-night, I took Schumi out of the parking and put him on 1st gear (with the ignitions on). Within a week, he got a few scratches in his bum (circus while parking)! To tell you a truth, I started to drive to office (just like that from one day) without a LL / DL!

From then on till now, Schumi has covered 55K Kms. Both of us have done Goa (a dozen times), Kerala, Chennai, Ooty (a couple of time), Masinagudi (some dozen times) and a few other places.

I used to look at the BHP threads and secretly take advices. And now I am here.

Apart from driving, I love F1, play soccer and shuttle.

Great to be here and looking forward for a nice long stay in this huge family.

Welcome to the forum. Nice to have you here.
Do paste a long term ownership report on your car etc.
Please do go thro the Forum rules you need to restrict yourself from using more than 2 smilies etc.
