hi every one.i am a medical doctor by profession(born in a family of doctors 18 at last count) based in mumbai and a car doctor by heart.all this time i thought i was alone in this madness of cars but after going through his site i am relieved that i have finally found my flock.i have in the last 13 years of car ownership used 1 mahindra 540(sold in 1999 and still regretting)and then got hooked to the sierra 5 till date(spending sleepless nights after each was sold) finally bought a safari because the family wanted 2 extra doors.to date dont know what to do with them(most of the people still line up at the front door to get in)..i have done numerous road trips on my enfield and the sierras regretfully all those trips have no documentation because i did not know whom to share those thrills with.anyways now that i am here shall look forward to more interactions with all you guys.see u enroute to somwhere

hi sierrakamat,
Welcome to team bhp. I am a newbie myself. The TATA Sierra has been one of the cars I have wanted to own since college days.

I like your nickname. A hello to you from an Ex Sierra owner. We owned a 94 NA model. It had its share of TATA niggles but I say it again that the car had character. The commanding road presence was second to none and we always got the right of way wherever we went. Why dont you post pictures of your Sierra with an ownership report?

Before you do that, take a stop at the Rules section to understand the forum protocol.

Welcome to Team BHP.

Err.. What up Doc ?

Too bad you don't have the documentations of you road trips.

Sierra definitely had road presence & the character but lacked reliability. Do post your long-term ownership reviews of the Safari under the appropriate sub-section.

And, have fun

Nice to see a passionate traveller. Hope to get some quick medical tips (for the cars). Welcome onboard Doc.
