Greetings from Kovai,
I am an orthopedic surgeon practicing in Coimbatore. My home town is Bangalore. I yesd to love tinkering on my father's Premier Padmini.
My first car was a Maruthi Alto Lxi. I enjoyed driving around in Bangalore and a few short trips.
I got a Honda City ZX Gxi in Sept. '08. Now I do a lot of high speed highway trips between Bangalore, Coimbatore, Chennai and Tirunelveli.
I enjoy driving and love cars.
I joined up in the forum last year itself (as wildsdi) but my membership was not approved. Now finally I managed to get in with a modified nick.
I hope to participate actively in the forum. And hope that my real nick will get approved.

I too joined yesterday from coimbatore.Ya even i heard trouble getting my memebership,but now i am rolling as royalbull !!

loved the drive to chennai via the old madras road

Often drive to Nilgris. Maybe I'll drop in some day.
And Eyedoc, OMR used to be fun. Nowadays there is no breaks at friendly chai shops. All the highways are speedways now.

Orthopaedic and high speed? Well, in any eventuality, you can treat yourself! Well jokes apart welcome aboard. Enjoy safe driving. And there are quite a lot of great places around where you live. Please do come up with travelogues. All eager.

Hi wild,
You are right now a days high ways become speed ways.I had the experience of no tea stall all the way to Madurai until and unless you enter motel very limited and countable.It is a good sign.But I am not a speedy driver.I drive in the range of 60-80 on the high ways.That is fine for 60plus.I do ofetn drive Pondy,Vellore,Madurai Salem.Between 17th Sept to 10th Nov My Ritz VDI ABS Odo reading is 6001.
