Back dated ownership experience

My experiences: New Car- Honda City

Modifications done till date

1. 195/60 R15 Michelin Primacy LC tyre upgrade : Costs 12500/- after exchange of the <100 km old original Michelin Energy+
Feedback: Improved performance, grip and low noise. However, did not really improve ground clearance

2. 3M RE-50 suncontrol film : Rs 3800/-
Feedback: Got some lines in the film, looks like the guys did not do a good job. 3M guys are not available to fix the warranty

3. Hella Red Grill Horn : Rs 1200/-(not sure) [ I wanted to fit a bosch/Roots large higher end , but was not able to find space/holder to keep them)
Feedback: Awesome, it commands road respect for the car esp with BMTC, water trucks and few of the rash bikers
4. Transparent PVC mats for interior(Rs 1100), Black rubber matt (Rs 550) for boot, leather steering cover stiched (Rs 400)
Feedback: Choose thicker transparent PVC as the thinner PVC has a tendancy to move around and get folded
5. Carmate-Thermometer and Hygrometer-Rs 900/-
Feedback: Carmate is really precise and quick...really good
6. IND Number plate- cost Rs 900/-
Feedback: You get away from cops especially in Kerala where they catch and fine the original plastic number plates with sticker numbers

What next?
1. Fog lamps. may be after market for Rs 5500/-
2. Need to try Civic's tyre 195/65 R15 -To improve ground clearance
3. May be leather seats

Tommie, welcome to Team BHP.
Since you love reviewing vehicles, would love to see more such reviews from you on the forum.

Although you'd be used to the forum ettiquette by now, a quick glance through the Announcements section would be helpful.

I shall request the mods to move your ownership report to the appropriate thread, since the intro thread has a limited lifespan. This way you can have a thread which you can update regularly.
