Hello from London

I left India around 6 years back to study and experience life across the seas - I have always been a car enthusiast - as I child I collected the matel cars and one day dreamt of driving my own lil maruti or contessa .. I still get excited when I see a new car or thinking abt what my next car would be..I find this forum and community full of like minded people - everyone either living their dream of the car they wanted or working their way to buy it.

I hope I am able to contribute my opinion and feedback on the international automotive scene as I am more in tune with what is happening here and in return update my knowledge on the car scene in India..

So a cold and freezing hello from me - Kaps here in London..

Welcome aboard mate

There are alot of Contessa lovers on Team BHP including yours truly. You should also check out fellow Moderator Aditya's immaculately maintained Conti as we lovingly call it. It would nice of you to keep us updated about the motoring scene from the UK. Do tell us more about yourself.

Also you seem to have joined in 2007 and posting an intro now. Still better late than never. Do take a stop at the Rules section to familiarize yourself with the forum etiquette. See you around

Thanks Dippy & Navan..

As Dippy said earlier - been a member since 2007 but couldnt get involved and share with the community due to other priorities. Anyways, better late then never and I hope I will make up for the lost time

I madea few posts on the international car scene area on some new launches here in europe the one to watch is the new punto coming up in 2010 with all new multijet engines - I know that punto is changing the face of fiat's legacy of a unreliable car company both in Europe and new markets like India so it will be interesting how the new punto does when launched in India sometime next year..
