Born to drive-even inside the house!

Team, this is my first post on Team-BHP.

First of all I would like to thank the moderators for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful and agile community.

To brief about myself , I am a software engineer by profession and living in Bangalore from 2005. Being a person who works in front of a computer, I am blessed with the ability to crawl through each and every Team-BHP thread, even during work ( computer works for me and in that time I go through car reviews and other topics ).

Although , I am still waiting to get hold my first car , I am fortunate enough to drive my dads Palio whenever I visit my native. I do have a car which runs on fuel but unfortunately doesn't need any driver inside! Yeah , you guessed it right , it's a replica with 8cc engine and designed by ModelArt. I do have a flying machine as well but the flight time is limited to 9 minutes only, again a replica helicopter.

Apart from all these things , I also cherish photography.

Hi there, Which model are you talking about? The MTA4 s50?

Looks like we have some hobbies in common... And by the way, what do you fly, as in which brand of RC heli?

WOW.

A 8cc engine. How fast does it go ? How much did it cost you ? How much fuel does it burn ? Please tell me by PM.

Welcome to the Forum.

Guys, sorry for the late response.

Yeah it's an s50. Costed me around less than 30K if I remember it correctly. Technically it can achieve a speed of ~80kmph , but never driven at that speed. My highest speed till date is not even close to that rated mark as I drive it inside the house or in the car parking area.

Karthik , I guess you were amongst the organizer of the race in JP Nagar , right ?

I will post a detailed report sometime for both the ride and flight. Karthik would be a better person than me to comment on these things as I have hardly seen other models.

I have given my heli for servicing as the gearbox/gyro was not working properly. Would be getting it back within couple of days.
