Hello all,

Name is Siva. Though living in Bangalore and claim to be a native of Chennai, mine and spouse roots are in villages of TamilNadu.
Returned to India after a 6 year stay in US of California :-) It was a shocker for me to drive an Accent after driving a Nissan Maxima (manual xmission, of course).
Some interesting events while driving on Indian roads
- Almost driving in the paddy fields as the road was completely blocked with hay that was heaped to make St. Thomas Mount look small
- 'Road indicaters is culture' - a sign on NH4 in AP. Took a while to figure out what the painter meant

best road sign ive seen till date is......."driving on the left is right"

LOL,

the best one ive seen is "CAUTION: Deep valley!" ...lol..whether its a shallow or deep valley doesnt really change my viewpoint of going over!! lol
