Hey Hey!

Hey hey to all out there !!

For a while now I have been thinking whether to join an online petrol head forum, couple of days ago Ive been thinking on buying a new car and did some research on google, got some pretty average reviews on auto magazine websites, when I browsed Team-Bhp's site I got pretty much what I was looking for, so to get further input I decided to join.

A little about my self:
Born and raised in Bombay - buttered in England, studied in Cathedral School and Kodai-Kanal INT School.

Presently working as an Investment Banker in a private firm (Trade) - Bombay.
I dont think cars "currentlly" intrests me. Its been intresting, provoking, motivating, exciting, facinating me since i was a toddler and i cant remeber a day of my life that I haven't been wanting to get behind a wheel of the car/s of my dreams. Moreover I have been racing/tuning cars since the tender age of 15, (speedrun "audiance", garage, dodocustoms, Zee car show, etc etc)

Cars Previously Owned:

1. Maruti Esteem X2
2. BMW (Dad)
3. Mustang (Dad)

Cars I currently Own:
1. Honda City 1.5 (old)(Modded)
2. Toyota Corrola 1st gen in India.
3. Mercedes Benz E-Class (2001)

Cars I am buying within 2010-2011
1. Skoda Laura vs Honda Civic vs Honda City
2. BMW 3-Series

Cars I want to own in the Future: (well lets hope so)
1. Pagani Zonda
2. 1967 Mustang GT500
3. Mclaren f1
4. Jaguar XJ220
5. Subaru WRX Sti
6. 1907 Rolls-Royce
7. Ferrari F40
8. AC Cobra
9. Fiat Padmani
10.Ambassador
(I know its a lenghty List...Theres more!!)

Hope you guys get to understand me and my car persona from the above, eager to post reviews and photos on the cars I own, also waiting to post new threads on consumer/commercial!!!

Glad to be here Ladies and Gentlemen~

Ps: Let me know if I am braking any forum rules, I tried me best not to.TC.

Did you drive the Mustang? Also, how is the ownership with the Corolla?

I'm curious to know why you have listed Ambassador as a future car. Ciao till then, drive safe

Hey SachnJ12 thankyou for the welcome

I just read through the ruels and announcement section thank you for reminding me,
must say the rules are quite stringent but again I'm sure it takes a lot to govern such an
extensive forum and the rules keeps everything sane an sentiments unhurt.

Alas heard this one to many times, street racing is something I'm trying to stop,
before its to late!

Cheers

Ever take the "Auto mechanics" class with Stengele?

Also, regarding your post above, here is something that might help : Track outside Mumbai (khopoli)

Hey Prateek,

Sadly no I was way to young to drive the mustang and not too sure of the model number either.
I can put up a detailed ownership/review of the Corolla if you'd like.
Briefly though the car is brilliant not faced any major issues yet except for changing the front brake pads, great quality peppy engine and good quality OEM leather seats overall outstanding value for money.

Yes the good old Ambi its been a Hallmark in our society and would be great to have as collectors car, its as baller as you can get.

Cheers Buddy.

Mr.Batliboi I presume, seen you in school when I was much younger. Stengele stopped his ''AutoMech'' class, so didnt get a chance instead got stuck in woodwork not to mention Saturday manual labor. -.-

Hey thanks for letting me know about the track it looks awsome, im sold ill contact them soon.
I am so happy there is finally some sort of track nearby.(Great Thread)

Glad to see some KIS flavour here, Tc.

Thank you for the welcome Auto.
I feel that I will miss the Ambi and padmani once i get old (60+) , theyd be nice to have around. By the way Ambi has the best back seat ever. Period.

Yes about the Mercedes I am not sure whether to post my opinions/reviews on this thread since its an intro and timed thread. I am planning to do detailed reviews on all my cars just need a little help where to start these threads and how to go about it any useful links/ideas?

You need to create a new topic here if it is a new car and here if you have covered many miles in it (10k+ generally)
