Hello everyone!

First of all it is a great privilege to be a part of this community.

I'm 23 years old and I am currently studying Medicine here in Trivandrum. I did my schooling in Dubai, U.A.E, where got a few opportunities to drive many great cars. So since my parents are in Dubai, I get a chance to go there once in a while.

I first started driving when I was in Dubai. I still remember how I was jumping to turn 18 so I could go and register myself for driving classes. And so the big day arrived and eventually I obtained the Driver's License in 2005.

My first car was my father's 1998 Mercedes S320 (W140). He had bought the 2005 Mercedes S 500 (W220) and decided to keep the old one so I could drive it.
Its a beautiful car, the S320. Its got a super smooth 3.2 liter straight 6 engine. We still have the car and I really don't want to give it away because of the emotional value.
The latest addition to my garage in Dubai is a 2010 Mercedes GL500 4Matic. This is one monster of a SUV. A huge 5.5 liter V8 engine producing 388 bhp and 530nm of torque! It weighs around 2.8 tonnes and will go from 0 to 100 kph in 6.5 to 7 seconds! Took delivery of the beast on my 23rd birthday, last month actually!

Here in India I drive a 2010 Honda City VMT, which i bought in February. Other cars in my India garage include a 2005 Toyota Innova and a 2005 Skoda Octavia. We also have booked the Toyota Fortuner.

I enjoy taking long drives with some friends. I consider myself a safe driver, although at times the speed bug does bite me. I use all the three mirrors besides looking out of the front. I find great pleasure in driving a car for no matter what the distance. So I can assure you that you will never see me being chauffeured around!

Other interests besides driving are reading, gaming and listening to music. I also very keen about football and of course, Formula 1.

I hope make the most of the forums and the members of this community. I will attempt to share my experiences in the motoring world whenever possible.

I am also adding a few pictures of my cars for your viewing pleasure. Please do post your comments!
